Reconciliation Workshop Weekend Schedule Friday Evening: 6:30 - 9:00 Welcome and overview of the weekend All member eye-gaze exercise Overview of Creative Conflict Resolution 3A's - Why it is so hard to change Assignment on Significant Relationships and Patterns of Conflict Saturday Morning: 8:30 - 10:00 3 Body Workout: A brief routine of stretching, meditation and focusing to get the day started. Forming groups of 4: These will be small groups that you will be working in all weekend. Introductions by 5 significant relationships with at least one pattern of conflict in each: an exercise in the small groups top help you get acquainted and to begin the work.
Break: 10:00 - 10:30 Fundamentals: brief introduction to some key concepts Power Relationships Accountability Cognitive Distortions Anxiety Distinctions Agreements vs. Demands Authority vs. Mutuality Conflict vs. Fight Resource -based vs. identity-based conflicts
Lunch: Noon Small group meets around ACE [a discipline where we Anticipate conflicts, Create plans and Evaluate how well they work]: this will begin with a writing assignment about with whom and what happens and will include identification of the nature of the relationship in which in happens [mutual or authority relationship].
Break: 2:30 Lecture and discussion about: Going Inside Feelings - STEW Effects of Childhood Orders of Self Ending by 5:00
We will plan an evening event if over 30% of the participants are from out of town.
